WYOMING STATE BOARD OF ATHLETIC TRAINING
Public notice is hereby given that the Wyoming State Board of Athletic Training intends to act on the following proposed rules. The Board is proposing changes to Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 and creating new Chapters 12 and 13. The proposed rules may be viewed and printed from the Board’s web page at http://athletictraining.wyo.gov/.
These rules are drafted to adopt rules by reference for public records request and procedures for administrative hearings. These rules are proposed by authority of the Board to regulate the qualifications and establish standards of performance for persons licensed as athletic trainers in Wyoming. These rules provide for enforcement and proper administration of the provisions of the Wyoming Athletic Trainers Licensing Act.

A public hearing will be held by the Wyoming State Board of Athletic Training if requested by twenty-five (25) persons, by a governmental subdivision, or by an association having not less than twenty-five (25) members. Requests for a hearing should be directed to the agency at the above address by the date specified above. Notice of the hearing will be provided to all persons making a timely request there for.
Commenters may request a statement of principal reasons for overruling the consideration urged by the commenter. If requested, the statement will be issued either prior to or within thirty (30) days after agency action. These proposed rules meet minimum substantive statutory requirements. A statement of principal reasons for adopting/repealing the rules may be requested from the address above. The Board has complied with W.S. § 9-5-304.
